One of our favorite places, good food and good people.

The people are always nice, the food is always tastyI'll go right before I go watch a movie on a Friday night and they'll always have food ready minutes after I order, I'll be in and stuffed in less than 30min. Also after being as often as I have I no longer have to tell them my order, they know you.

Best Mexican restaurant in Lufkin. I’ve been coming here since 1991 and you can’t get better cheese enchiladas. Be careful with the hot sauce it has a really good flavor but it is sneaky hot. After you’ve had a few dips you’re going to need a drink handy.

This place has the absolute best waiter I have ever seen. I literally walked in the door and he already had my chips and salsa and my drink already on the table. AWESOME service!

Got the huevos rancheros and it was just eggs and refried beans... no potatoes or breakfast meats. As if that wasn't disappointing enough the tortillas are horrible they were definitely not authentic Mexican I wouldn't recommend to my worse enemies. If they have to tell you it's authentic that's because you wouldn't be able to tell by yhe taste.

Best Tex Mex in Lukin. Always has been. I'm 60 years old and my parents used to take me there. I walk in and the waiter already know what I want. Can't say enough but I love the place.

Casa Morales has been an institution in Lufkin for decades. The food is excellent and the staff amazing.

Atmosphere was ok.. they seemed short handed but got our food fast! Didn't like the chips and the food was ok.. I don't like that they ask you if you wanna tip instead of us writing it in ourselves... so it's a maybe return place for us.

Casa Morales is a Lufkin staple. Most of my childhood memories of eating out are Morales. Special occasions, birthdays and trips back to Lufkin after moving away. This place is special for so many folks. Always a friendly face, great service and a feeling of being home when you are here. The food is absolutely amazing. Not over the top just purely good food that tastes like home.

Best authentic, like The Valley kind, Mexican food in town. Always great service. Angel always remember what you get. Carne Guisada is perfect.

I only have 1 complaint but it is a big complaint which is why I give 2 stars instead of 5. when you walk outside it smells like raw sewer every time you go there never fails. Something needs to be done about this.

We have dined here several times since moving in Feb. 2019. Good Mexican food, and old school brown gravy on cheese enchiladas...yum.

Food was OK. Staff were nice. Enchiladas and tacos could use a little more meat. Very nice atmosphere.

👎🏻This place look like a small elementary school cafeteria from the 70’s. The salsa was tomato sauce with a lot of chili powder and cayenne, that’s it. I was from out of town and looked for the closet Mexican place from the hospital to have lunch and a margarita. Well, guess what? NO margaritas! 2 plates, 2 drinks and a plate to go for the family member in the hospital $34. I felt Jipped! Not worth the money! There was no atmosphere of a restaurant at all. Oh, and the tea wasn’t even good. There’s just nothing good I can say about this place. Can say anything about the restrooms, didn’t go in there. Waste of my time and money!!

Angel, the waiter, is by far THE BEST we've ever had!! He never has to ask what we want because he remembers after only one visit!! Great service. Food is good, although I've had better. But for Lufkin, it's hard to beat.
